Education
Norfolk's International Azalea Festival is not about Azalea's but if you need information about the care and feeding of your Azalea's please click here. Elementary Art Works| Norfolk Public Elementary students will be participating in an art project to help promote Azalea Festival events in their schools. To engage local school children and encourage learning about our NATO partners, art work entries from local elementary schools are being collected. The Art Work's theme is “Friendship between Nations." Artwork can also focus on symbolic representation of the Festival (azaleas) and the Most Honored Nation. In the case of the Netherlands: tulips, wooden shoes, windmills. All entries will be judged and top entries at each school will be awarded prizes. The winning art will be compiled for the layout of promotional posters for the Festival! | | Proudly sponsored by Ursa Navagation Solutions
Internet Scavenger Hunt| Norfolk's International Azalea Festival annually pays tribute to the Norfth Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). To learn about our NATO Allies, take a journey through our Internet Scavenger Hunt and visit each of the 26 NATO nations. Begin your journey with a few brief instructions, the most important rule... is to enjoy the trip!
